Strandberg Alex Machacek, red, made in Indonesia 2021. Alex is a modern fusion legend, hailing from Austria. His signature take on the Boden model comes stacked with his signature pickups and a chambered alder body, adding a little warmth and oomph to the recipe. This has the signature Strandberg stuff we came for: super smooth trem, stable tuning, multi-scale neck, stainless frets, square 'EndurNeck' profile. The neck feels fantastic, with an asymmetric shape that guides your left hand as it slides up the neck for maximum comfort and ease. The pickups are a vintage overwound genre, so the humbukers are medium-hot with plenty of low end oomph, and the single coil and in-between sounds are snappy and bright as you might hope. The front has scuffs in the elbow area and some play wear around the strings.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 9/46 strings in standard tuning.
