Godin A4-SA Ultra Semi-Acoustic Bass Natural 2007
Godin A4-SA Ultra, made in Canada 2007, natural finish. Godin are the quiet achievers of the guitar universe, building some beautiful and innovative instruments from their home base in Canada. This is their take on the acoustic bass, but with a whole lot of clever ideas packed in. Firstly, it's got a bolt on neck, which is super stable and feels fantastic to play. The body is chambered, so it holds the tension of the long scale and hefty strings easily while still delivering a pretty respectable unplugged volume. You get a standard under-saddle style pickup, as well as a MIDI 13-pin output if you want to really mess with different sounds. This is a well considered take on a tricky genre, it's very good.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has minor scuffs in the middle of the body, around the neck join, elbow area and back edge. The sides have minor dimples in the elbow area and near the jacks, as well as rub wear on the horns. The front has scuffs around the bridge, rub wear in the elbow area, dimples around the controls and some play wear around the strings.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
